The president of CCL USA Inc, Marc Khoury, will be present on stand number 19 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel to meet new and existing clients, and to talk about our specialised engineering solutions for structures including our post-tensioning services.
Our most recently completed project in America was a 450-unit apartment block with an underground car park and bus garage near Washington, D.C.
The BLVD apartment block along with the bus garage and car park, which has space for 3,500 vehicles, forms part of the redevelopment of Reston Station, which is on the railway line connecting central Washington and Dulles International Airport, in Virginia. CCL provided 450 tons of post-tensioning material for the project.
Also in Washington DC, we’ve worked on the redevelopment of Art Place, at Fort Totten, which is a 1940’s complex of garden-style apartments involving a two million square foot development that includes 929 residential units and 333,550 sq ft of retail space, along with other neighbourhood amenities.
Again in Washington DC, our PTI work can be seen at the Square 701 (also known as Ball Park Square) mixed-use development which, when complete, will have 325 rental apartments, a 170-room hotel and around 25,000 sq ft of retail space all on the doorstep of the Nationals Park baseball park.
The PTI is a non-profit organisation for the advancement of post-tensioned, pre-stressed concrete design and construction, and represents a community of businesses and professionals dedicated to expanding quality post-tensioning applications.
It is recognised as the worldwide authority on post-tensioning, and is dedicated to expanding PT applications through marketing, education, research, teamwork and code development while also advancing the quality, safety, efficiency, profitability and use of post-tensioning systems.
