CCL is part of a small, select group of prestressing specialists able to provide clients with the reassurance of knowing that their entire range of post-tensioning systems is fully compliant with ETAG 013. The Company has invested heavily in obtaining certification to ensure that all CCL systems meet the requirements of the European Technical Approval, which forms the basis for the CE marking of post-tensioning systems. ETAG 013 complements the latest Eurocode 2 which requires that post-tensioning systems must have ETAG 013 approval, and carry a CE mark. Testing to EN 13391 alone, no longer guarantees compliance.
The CE mark provides assurance of ongoing conformity, as approved companies are independently audited on their systems and products each year. CCL offers clients a fully compliant system for both bonded and unbonded systems for all strand diameters ensuring they meet the requirements of the new Eurocode.
Providing the highest standard within the industry, CE marking not only ensures correct type test approval, but also continued surveillance by accredited approval bodies. Technical assessment of the CCL systems was carried out by SETRA, the prominent EOTA approval body. CE marking approval and surveillance is undertaken by UK Cares.
CCL’s name has been associated with technical excellence for more than 75 years. Attaching great importance to the quality and conformity of its products has helped CCL become one of the world’s leading prestressing specialists.
