The American University of Beirut Medical Centre required a durable and sustainable solution for its underground car park which needed to be executed within a four week timeframe.
CCL’s SURFACE flooring specialists devised a solution which had low-absorbance, is dustproof, has high-wear and abrasion resistance, is easy to clean and maintain.
Three basement slabs on ground, each 850m2, were executed within the four week timeframe set by the client. CCL provided two teams to work simultaneously to ensure that the project was delivered on schedule.
Due to the car park being underground, this meant there was limited access for the concrete distribution. CCL utilised concrete pumps and trolleys to overcome this challenge.
The long-strip casting method with guided rails was used to achieve differentiating slopes within the floor which the client requested.
The project was executed to the highest standard and on time by CCL due to excellent coordination with the main contractor of the project.
