The construction of a new concrete ground slab at a youth club in Marjeyoun, Lebanon, was carried out by CCL to renew the existing recreation area.
Measuring approximately 32 metres long by 21 metres wide, the slab formed a covered sports court. CCL installed its XU unbonded post-tensioning system and carried out the concreting of the slab in a single pour.
This produced a joint-free slab on grade which was crack free.
