CCL to exhibit at the inaugural Evolving Concrete event

evolv_conc3We’re going to be exhibiting at the first ever Evolving Concrete on May 6 and 7 which takes place at the Business Design Centre, in Angel Islington, London.

Organised by the Concrete Society, we’ll be on stand E67 where we’ll be discussing in detail our offerings on specialised engineering solutions for structures.

We’ll also be showcasing our work on post-tensioning for buildings and civil structures, repair and strengthening solutions and precast technology.

Included within this will be CCL’s pre-tensioning systems and the turnkey solutions of our sister company Spiroll for its Hollowcore factory set up.

Spiroll is known for the supply of tailored production systems for the manufacture of prestressed and pre-cast concrete elements.

The company provides complete packages for precast factory start ups, including machinery supply, equipment and accessories, training and support.

CCL’s post-tensioning systems provide a means of strengthening concrete by exploiting its strength in compression and overcoming its weakness in resisting tension.

This is achieved by applying a compressive force to the structure through the stressing of high strength steel strand with specialised anchorage assemblies.

The flexibility of the strand is a major advantage, allowing it to be profiled through the concrete element thereby counteracting a portion of the applied loads to provide an exceptionally efficient structure.

Our range of services for the repair and strengthening of concrete and steel structures also includes inspection and evaluation, to help provide an optimal solution to a specific problem using the latest methods and technologies available.

In addition to our concrete repair activities, we also offers full jacking and heavy lifting services.

Delegates at the event will have access to a series of technical seminars on current topics for the industry.

Unlike other events both seminars and exhibition are aimed directly at the professional; in particular consultants, designers, specifiers, architects, architectural technologists and contractors.
